With the development of social economy and the improvement of people's living standard, protecting environment and saving energy have received more and more attention. Central heating network system becomes the first choice of heating types because of its high economic benefit and little pollution. Effective hydraulic calculation could help to select equipment to save system's initial investment. Hydraulic calculation has more significance not only on the transformation and extension of existing heating system, but also on the building of new central heating system.Based on the current researches of hydraulic calculation of heating ring-shaped pipeline network, this paper analyses the functional requirement, designs and achieves a heating ring-shaped network under B/S model. This system contains two parts, which are the browser client and the server.The browser client connects between the users and the server. It helps the users to draw the pipelines, input the initial parameters and also transmit the data to the server. The browser client also shows the results of hydraulic calculation to the users. The results contains the flow direction of pipelines, tables of hydraulic calculation results and 3D display of pipelines.The server mainly finishes the entire hydraulic calculation process and saves the results.This system uses the algorithm of counting the numbers of heating network's loops while doing the loops' adjustment calculation. This counting algorithm is based on breadth first search.This system is not limited by different operation systems because of the B/S model, users could complete the hydraulic calculation process on a browser of any terminal which could connect the Internet.Finally, after finishing the test from drawing and designing the heating network, computing hydraulic calculation to showing the results, the results suggest that the system runs stably and meets the design requirements.
