Research On The Traffic Safety Of Plateau Road Based On Driver’s Subjective Feeling

Plateau highway traffic accident statistics show that driver’s own factors and road traffic environment factors had a great influence on the driving safety of plateau highway. The various impact on driver`s psychological and physiological characteristics and highland road traffic safety by the special environment of plateau highway were focused on the study.As a verification and supplement of drivers psychological and physiological characteristic testing work under harsh environment at plateau highway, along the plateau highway road detection driver group was conducted questionnaire investigation of studying team based on traffic safety. Field research found that due to the impact of altitude, hypoxia and other special road environment, plateau road driver`s subjective feelings has a large difference between the general and the oasis road driver`s. Among them, when drivers was running at plateau highway, mental health was large influenced by the external environment. Long-duration driving easy to appear irritability and depression phenomenon, psychological fluctuation relatively obvious. Aspects of physiological feelings, long-duration driving can lead to appear lightheadedness and fatigue and other physiological phenomenon.By adopting analytical hierarchy process(AHP) to analyze the local and out of town driver`s subjective feeling and then get the weight of each index. Finally, according to the comprehensive weight to comate local and out of town driver`s subjective feeling. The results showed that due to the influence of altitude、hypoxia and other special road environment, the out of town drivers subjective psychological feelings have great difference with local drivers. Among them, when out of town drivers driving on the Plateau highway, they exhibit loneliness and attention to vehicle instrument, this kind of psychological state will cause some influences on driver`s safe and driving safety. Then the out of town driver subjective physiological feeling situation keep consistent with local drivers, the prolongation of driving time can lead to driver subjective physiological feeling, for instance, frequent yawning, fatigue and sleepy phenomenon and so on, generate driving fatigue. These psychological, physiological changes are driving unsafe inducement.
