Controller Design For Power Conversion Module(PCM-1) In DC Zonal Electric Distribution System

Power converter module (PCM-1) is an important component of DC-zonal electric distribution system (DC ZEDS) in the vessel integrated power system. Its main function is converting input DC higher voltage to lower level to supply the zonal load or inverter. The controller is core of PCM-1 module, its performance directly determines the power supply quality of the module, operation reliability and continuity of power supply, and then affects the performance of the DC ZEDS. This paper combines with the DC ZEDS overall technical requirements and PCM-1 module overall technical plan, carries out the research of PCM-1 module controller design.This paper discusses the research status of DC ZEDS and power electronics device controller, introduces the location of PCM-1 module in DC ZEDS, function, composition and structure of PCM-1 module, and introduces main technical requirements which controller should have for the realization of the module and system function.Secondly, this paper carries out the top-level design of controller according to technical requirements, clears the hardware and software architecture, components, configurations, external interface, task division and interface relationship between each other of the controller.Again, this paper carries out hardware and software design of the controller at each level, including:The operation rules of the software module controller, including data and operation parameters to install, starting sequence, initialization, PFM state machine to switch, data flow, and so on, giving detailed operation flow diagram;Designing the function of HMI, and designing each display interface, specifying the contents for each interface to display, data resource and the switching relationship between each interface.Designing PLC module controller function and hardware and software constitution, giving detailed analog quantity, digital quantity I/O interface; Designing the SSCM controller function and hardware and software constitution, gives control software flow chart and operation rules.Finally, this paper makes the system function of module controller-power flow management design, including power source and load matching algorithm design, makes unload and load recovery rules and water management rules, fault monitoring and isolation, and reconstruction algorithm design, etc. makes the information format of internal and external data communication.
