Nowadays, the cars are no longer as a luxury, which has become a tool to replace walking. Especially in recent years, the development direction of automobile is more and more point to the new energy vehicles. The use of electrical system in senior cars and new energy vehicle is higher than the traditional vehicle. Therefore, the research and development of electrical system is a very important link. The increase of electrical equipment and the improvement of electronic control system make the electrical system more complex. It also make the design and development of electrical more strict. In the process of the vehicle electrical system development, to ensure system design rationality, safety and reliability, we need to implement the vehicle performance test and establish vehicle performance test system which have test process and test criteria.The Vehicle electric performance test include automotive power performance test, electronic controller test and electrical component test. It is particularly important for vehicle start, steering and safety driving. Its main test items include vehicle power balance test and vehicle power distribution test.This paper describes how to develop a CompactRIO based vehicle electrical performance test system. According to the principle of the vehicle power balance and power distribution principle, establish and improve the test specification. It makes the test specification template input to the test system and According to the data acquisition, data processing and analysis, the report steps to complete the test task. First, through the vehicle electronic system circuit analysis power distribution test principle and the vehicle electric balance calculation principle, according to the international test specification production test specification template, obtain the test demand. Second, the overall structure of the system is described in detail, and the hardware design of the system is divided into modules, including sensor module, wireless transmission module, data acquisition module, precision conversion module. Third, combined with the compactrio technology and virtual instrument technology, the software design of the system, composed of upper machine and lower machine level programming, mainly reflected in FPGA driven design, RT control and data storage, PC test analysis of three aspects of interface. Fourth, the use of pure electric vehicles to carry out the real car test, the vehicle electrical performance test report, verify the system's scientific and reliability.
