| According to the China Industrial Information Network report: China’s new car production and sales volume has been ranked first in the world for ten consecutive years,and the degree of car intensive,high-speed and driver’s non-professionalization is getting higher and higher;with President Xi at the Third Session of the 12 th National People’s Congress The important speech at the plenary session of the PLA delegation clearly pointed out that the integration of military and civilian development has become a national strategy,and a number of private military vehicle manufacturing enterprises have emerged in China.The military vehicles manufactured by these military vehicle companies are generally superior in reliability,and the handling stability and ride comfort need to be improved.These companies want to seize the opportunities in the fiercely competitive market.Computer simulation has become the main means for them to shorten the development cycle,reduce development costs,improve product quality,and improve product competitiveness.Therefore,it is necessary to use the ADAMS/CAR software to study the handling stability of vehicles manufactured by these companies.This paper takes a certain type of off-road vehicle as the research object,and aims at the analysis and evaluation of vehicle handling stability.The multi-body system dynamics analysis software ADAMS is applied to establish a double wishbone independent front suspension and five-link independent.Suspension,steering system,simplified body,brake system(tires,power system and other subsystems were assembled into a vehicle dynamics model,and the correctness of the model was verified.On the basis of the built vehicle model,refer to GB/T6323-2014 "Car Handling Stability Test Method" for snake line,steering wheel angle step input,steering wheel angle pulse input,steering return performance,steering portability,stability Simulation of six project test conditions including state rotation,processing and analysis of simulation test data,scoring each test project according to QC/T480-1999 "Automotive Handling Stability Index Limits and Evaluation Methods" Evaluation and comprehensive evaluation of vehicle handling stability.Thirdly,according to the national standard,a certain type of off-road military vehicle is tested on the stability of real vehicle handling.By comparing the simulation and test results,it is found that the off-road military vehicle has the problem of excessive steering after in sufficient steering and low lateral acceleration of the neutral turning point in the steady-state rotation performance test.Finally,in response to these shortcomings,ADAMS/Insight was used to improve the.front suspension and optimize the four-wheel positioning parameters of the front suspension.Simulation and comparison of the models before and after optimization,the vehicle stability performance has been improved.This paper builds a virtual simulation model of an off-road military vehicle based on ADAMS,and carries out real vehicle test and virtual prototype simulation analysis on the vehicle steering stability,and optimizes the steady-state rotation characteristics for the actual development of the subsequent off-road vehicle steering stability.Provides a reference and has strong practical value. |
