Bus bursts into flames after the fire spread quickly, in a few seconds to fires, traditional rescue equipment has lost its original function, coupled with awareness of occupants in a panic situation weakened, leading to a series of questions.Because of the special cutting ability of shaped charge jet, it can be applied to explore and enlarge the escaping routes for drivers and passengers of ignited bus. The numerical model of the scheme was established by ANSYS/LS-DYNA finite element software to research its performance. Simulations found that although the asymmetry of shaped charge and diffraction of detonation wave in curvature radius which both of them have negative influence on the penetrating ability of jet, with the reasonable parameters, the cutting ability of shaped charge was sustained. Not only it can smoothly explore and expand the escape routes in microseconds, but also the routes didn’t remain obstacles for physical vulnerable groups. Thus the scheme can be used as an effective countermeasure for the ignited bus.In this paper, respectively to advance numerical simulation about the arc side direction of shaped charge jet cutter and the arc rsdial of shaped charge jet cutter, and analysis the characteristics of escape routes opened up. The results show that the two kinds of shaped charge generation jet can completely cut metal target, and can also be completed within microseconds. Therefore, this paper puts forward the scheme feasible.
