In recent years,the protection capabilities of various new types of armor have been continuously improved.As an important type of anti-armored ammunition,the traditional shaped charge is difficult to achieve high-efficiency damage to the targets protected by high-strength armor.Then,it is extremely urgent to develop a new type of shaped charge.In order to achieve the requirement of high penetration depth and large hole diameter on high-strength metal targets,this paper proposes the concept of a generalized “hyper shaped charge”,which includes “hyper shaped charge jet” that exceed the traditional shaped jet in penetration depth and “hyper annular projectile charge” that surpass EFP on penetrating diameter and penetrating deeper than traditional annular shaped charge.Numerical simulation is used as the main research method,combined with theoretical analysis and experimental verification to conduct systematic research on the formation and penetration mechanism of hyper shaped charge.The main researches are as follows:(1)Based on the fundamental formation theory of hyper shaped charge jet,a jet-type hyper shaped charge structure is designed.The static blasting experiment of jet-type hyper shaped charge is carried out.The velocity of the jet head is measured,and the destruction result of additional body and target is also obtained.By comparing the numerical simulation results of different algorithms with the experimental results,a reasonable numerical algorithm is determined.The formation process of jet-type hyper shaped charge is given,and the influence of additional body materials on the formation of hyper shaped charge jet is analyzed.The results show that when the materials of additional body are steel,copper and tungsten,the jet mass has not been improved.When the additional body is rigid,the jet mass accounts for about 43.8% of the total mass of the liner,which is much larger than that of the traditional shaped charge jet,but the jet velocity is reduced,resulting in an effective jet mass accounts for only 8.2% of the mass of the liner.(2)In order to solve the shortcomings of jet-type hyper shaped charge,based on the basic theory of hyper shaped charge jet,a truncated cone additional body hyper shaped charge jet structure is designed.The process of the hyper shaped charge jet formation is given.The key parameters of the traditional shaped jet and the hyper shaped charge jet are compared.The numerical simulation and experimental study of the penetration ability for the hyper shaped charge jet under different standoff is carried out.The results show that,in the same condition,the effective jet mass of the hyper shaped charge jet is larger than that of the traditional shaped charge jet.The effective jet mass can reach 17.3% of the liner mass,but the velocity of the jet head is lower than that of the traditional shaped charge jet.(3)In order to solve the problem of low velocity of the truncated cone additional body hyper shaped charge jet,based on the fundamental formation theory of hyper shaped charge jet,a slab additional body hyper shaped charge jet structure is designed,and a theory of jet formation for slab additional body hyper shaped charge is given.The reliability of numerical simulation for hyper shaped charge jet is verified by X-ray experiments.The process of hyper shaped charge jet formation is given.The influence of liner material,additional body material,liner truncated height and liner wall thickness on the formation of hyper shaped charge jet is analyzed.Using a combination of numerical simulation and X-ray experiments,the key parameters of the traditional shaped charge jet and the slab additional body hyper shaped charge jet is compared.Experiments on the penetration of hyper shaped charge jet and traditional shaped charge jet are conducted.The results show that,for the same conditions,compared with the traditional shaped charge jet,the velocity of the slab additional body hyper shaped charge jet head can be increased by 33.6%,the effective jet mass can be increased by 4.3%,and the length of the jet part can be increased by 12.0%.The additional body material has an important influence on the penetration ability of the hyper shaped charge jet.Under different standoff,the penetration depth of the hyper shaped charge jet with tungsten additional body is greater than that of the traditional shaped charge jet.The penetration depth of hyper shaped charge jet can be increased by6.1%.(4)Based on the advantages of the slab additional body hyper shaped charge jet,a comparative study of the traditional shaped charge jet and hyper shaped charge jet penetrating into layered and spaced concrete targets is conducted,and a theoretical model to predict the depth of penetrating into spaced concrete targets is presented.The results show that,compared with the traditional shaped energy jet,the depth of the hyper shaped charge jet penetrating into layered concrete targets increases by about 16.3% and,for spaced concrete targets,the penetration depth increases by about 14.6%.(5)In order to solve the problem of the lack of penetration hole diameter for traditional EFP and penetration depth for existing annular shaped charge,a hyper annular projectile charge is designed.A theoretical model to calculate the microelement velocity of liner is established.The reliability of numerical simulation for hyper annular projectile charge is verified by X-ray experiments.The process of hyper annular projectile charge formation is given,and the main influencing factors for the formation of hyper annular projectile charge are revealed.Experiments are conducted to study the influence of the main parameters of hyper annular projectile charge on the penetration depth and hole diameter.The optimal design results of different charge diameters are verified.The results show that the position of maximum liner wall thickness,angle of ??,and shell thickness have great influence on radial velocity of hyper annular projectile,penetration depth and hole diameter.With the increase of the angle ??and shell thickness,the penetration hole diameter decreases,and the penetration depth increases gradually.Under the same conditions,the hole diameter caused by hyper annular projectile charge with different charge diameters is larger than that by EFP,and the penetration depth is greater than the traditional annular shaped charge caused.The hyper annular projectile charge can penetration a hole diameter of 0.92 times the charge diameter,and penetration depth can reach 0.64 times the charge diameter.
