With the development of tank vehicle and the application of space armor, composite armor, explosive reactive armor and so on, the protective capability of armored target have been improved to improve their viability on the battlefield; the power of shaped charge has met a great challenge. The material red copper which used in shaped charge line fined to submicron and nanometer. It can improve the yield strength of the material of shaped charge line and decrease tensile ductility; the shaped charge jet will delay jet fracture and the shaped charge jet is fully stretched. Consequently, the penetration ability of shaped charge jet increased.This paper selects nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line as research object.The preparation of nanocrystalline copper materials and the processing method of nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line were study. Using nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line in shaped charge warhead and their penetration power were study.The main contents could be summarized as follows:(1) The preparation method of nanocrystalline copper materials were study and nanocrystalline copper materials successful prepared from preparation method. The study show that the strain hardening rate increased with the increased passes of ECAP. It can effectively inhibit the local deformation and the plastic instability, and it can increase uniform elongation and toughness.(2) The processing technology of nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line was completed.The difference of mechanical property between nanocrystalline copper and coarse-grain copper was considered. Based on primary processing technology of shaped charge line,the number of stamping and flap molding were increased to make sure that the yield of nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line coming up to over 80%.(3) The theory of axial penetration and radial crater growth caused by shaped charge jet penetration in target was established. The progress of jet penetration was analyzed to provide theoretical basis for the design of the shaped charge warhead.(4) The shaping regularity of nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line was analyzed by X-ray experiments. The results of experiment show that the coherency of nanocrystalline copper shaped charge jet was better than that of coarse-grain copper. The effective length of nanocrystalline copper shaped charge jet was greater than that of pure copper. The fire tests show that compare with coarse-grain copper, using nanocrystalline copper shaped charge line in HEAT can improve more than 10 percent.
