At present, the domestic steel production capacity is seriously redundant. As steel structure buildings are being vigorously promoted by the government, steel structure buildings are becoming more and more important. In high civil buildings with steel structure, box-type or H-shaped steel column is commonly adopted. There are salient angles in the room, which affects aetheticism of architecture and use function. steel structures with specially shaped columns can solve the above problems perfectly.According to the current research, it shows that the research on the open section member is becoming increasingly mature. However, the research and application of special closed section member is not complete.Based on this, this paper conducts a research on the global stability and computing method under the pressure and moment of special 十-shaped closed section column and by thin-walled beam theory and energy method, deduces the flexural-torsional buckling equilibrium equation under the pressure and moment of special 十-shaped closed section column and gets the elastic solutions under different boundary conditions. The stability checking applied formula for this section column is also obtained. Then related model is built by using the software of finite element analysis to verify the correctness of theoretical derivation formula and finite elementmodel. At the same time, based on eccentric distance and slenderness ratio, this paper analyzes the change of stable bearing capacity of 十-shaped closed section member under the influence of geometric imperfections and mechanical defects as well as material nonlinearity and verifies the correctness of practical calculating formula.
