The Research On Adaptive Onlinesetting Relay Protection System

As proposed by state grid company of "strong smart grid" planning to promote and implement,together with the structure of modern power system is increasing complexity into geometric multiples,these factors exposed the limitations of traditional relay protection.Power system structure and parameters in actual operation is constantly changing,but the traditional relay protection setting value is to determine the constant in the running not according to these changes make adjustments.While online adaptive relay protection setting system can according to these changes to fixed value setting calculation,So that it can always make protect in the optimal state,can well meet the requirements of the smart grid to the relay protection system.Adaptive setting higher requirements for real-time,online real-time running parameters can be obtained from the energy management system(EMS),when the power system operation mode and the trend of the change,online setting system for the current operation mode of the new fixed value setting,issued by the power system communication network in substation protection,so as to realize online setting.EMS system and adaptive online setting system and information transmission between substations using TCP/IP protocol to realize remote transmission,substation internal measurement,protection information transmission adopts the IEC61850 standard,IEC61850 standard implements the data sharing between different intelligent electronic equipment in the seamless connection,meet the adaptive online relay protection setting global requirements.To quickly parameter correction and short-circuit current calculation,this paper chooses a network partitioning algorithm,will be broken down into smaller sub network,greatly accelerate the calculation speed,is verified by an example.The paper introduces the zhonghengborui digital power technology co.,LTD.,research and development of relay protection fault analysis and setting management system,analyzes the overall architecture of the software,the establishment of the network topology and data communications.With instance offline setting with adaptive setting calculation in two ways,analyzing and comparing two kinds of mode setting fixed value performance,the results show that the adaptive setting fixed value protection range is bigger,higher sensitivity.
