The Research Of The Feeder Line Protection Based On IEC61850 Standard In Automation System Of Distribution Network

As the latest international standard in substation automation, the standard series IEC61850--"Communication networks and systems in Substations"defines the communication between Intelligent Electronic Devices(IEDs) in the substation and the related system requirements ,and reflects the trend of substation automation communication technology.It also arouses extensive concern of people who are engaged in Power System field. The main content of this paper which has been focused on analyzing and researching the feeder line protection based on IEC61850 in the automation of distribution network is as followed:This dissertation introduces the background of IEC61850 standard series, its main character and its status; designs the interface of the feeder line protection based on IEC61850 in the automation of distribution network—compatible with the fiber Ethernet; uses C++ language to model the part 7-3(Basic communication structure for substation and feeder equipment-Common data classes) of IEC61850 standard; views the application prospect of IEC61850 standard series and the difficulties during its realization process at present.
