| Earth-rock dam is not only the oldest,but also the most widespread type of dam.It shows absolute advantages in numbers over other types of dam both in China and a broad.Therefore,it is of great significance to guarantee the safety operation of earth-r ock dam,resulting in the continuous exploration and research about it safety and stabi lity by many professional researchers.Our country built a lot of earth-rock dams from1950 s to 1970 s,among which small and medium-sized dams take a large proportion a nd most of them were surveyed,designed and constructed simultaneously considering the limited technology and economy at that time.After decades of operation,most of the reservoirs have already shown dilapidated phenomenon.So the reinforcement of these reservoirs basing on the re-examining and comprehensive evaluation is needed urgently.Seepage has always been an important problem that causes the destruction of earth-rock dam and attracted the attention of many researchers..The development of earth dam accompanies the development of seepage theory.Although there are many solutions to solve seepage problem,the suitable methods corresponding to practical engineering,calculating and demonstrating the seepage behavior accurately are still not many relatively.With the rapid development of the reinforcement of small reservoirs in China,applicable calculation methods to make seepage problem more easy and solve it more accurately are very important and necessary.This paper is based on the engineering example.Firstly,a numerical model is established in CAD software.Secondly,using ANSYS’s analysis and processing function and the similarity between thermal analysis module and seepage field.The numerical simulation model of a medium sized reservoir is seepage analyzed by using the thermal analysis module.The seepage condition of the reservoir before and after reinforcement is obtained,such as the single wide seepage gradient,seepage flow,overflow point elevation.It provides theoretical basis for the strengthening scheme of scientific economy.For similar dangerous reservoir reinforcement,by using the calculation method of this paper,we can get more realistic seepage data,and be able to meet the actual seepage measures to reduce the cost of reinforcement.In view of thecurrent,our country is accelerating the process of small reservoir reinforcement,a more scientific and reasonable reinforcement scheme can be adopted by using this method.At the same time,the reinforcement project scheme can achieve more economical,reasonable and efficient. |
