The power supply system is very important in the subway transportation operation, not only for the electric train traction power supply, but also to provide the power for the interval, the station and other buildings to provide the power to use electricity.Therefore,it must have the reliability and the security. Traction power supply is an important reason for the influence of power supply system and project cost. At present, it adopts DC system mode. Compared with AC feed, DC feed electric vehicle has the advantages of speed control, wide speed range, easy operation, simple operation, high stability, high investment and low investment.Compared with DC750 V, the DC1500 V power supply system has the power supply voltage, the power supply distance increased, the power supply current is reduced, and the electric current capacity of the whole electric equipment is reduced. Therefore, it will become the future development of the city rail system, especially the main development trend of the subway system.Through the research of the DC 1500 V power supply system of Wuxi Metro Line 2, this thesis presents the scheme of short circuit test. Firstly, the basic principle and characteristics of DC1500 V power supply system for urban rail transit are analyzed, and the DC short circuit fault of the system operation phase is likely to occur. Secondly, introduces the DC power supply system protection principle and form, focuses on the analysis of the DC system main protection-- rising rate of current di / dt protection and current increment] I protection theory and characteristics, and gives the relative tuning method. Tuning methods are three kinds: T and tuning, and the tuning of F and E. Once again, according to the structure of DC traction power supply system, the calculation method of direct current short circuit current is presented. At last, according to the requirement of operation service and the precondition of the adjustment, the test scheme of the short circuit of the LT010 DC traction system of Wuxi Metro Line 2 is put forward, and the conclusion is drawn. The conclusion shows that the protection action logic of the DC switch is correct, and the protection setting value of the DC switch has good sensitivity and good speed for the short circuit fault.
