With the rapid development of the city in recent years, the residents and the plant's electricity consumption is increasing. The social require the economic security of grid operation and quality supply continuously improve. With the continuous development of power grid, the electricity market reform deepening, the rapid development of computer automated, measurement and control technology and network communication, the integrated automation substation which has high safety, high efficiency, high reliability and high performance advantage became the main power grid development application technology.Practice has proved that the integrated substation automation system has been widely used in all levels of substation. Giving full play to its advanced technology, reliable operation, for implementing the modernization management of power grid dispatching automation and field operation, improve the level of power grid's safety and economic operation has played a great role in promoting. It also can bring economic benefits for substation. It is the inevitable trend of modern power grid development.This paper based on the background of the development of the current power grid, takes Fucun substation integrated automation transform project for example. Through to draw lessons from the past on the successful experience of substation integrated automation transformation, puts forward the existing problems before the integrated automation substation and analyzes the reasons of problems, puts forward suitable Fucun substation integrated automation system renovation project design content, including the Life Cycle Cost(LCC) theory to estimate the economic benefits of substation after transforming; In introducing Fucun substation integrated automation system upgrade project of basis, aim,measures on the basis of engineering design and technical content is introduced in detail;Combining Fucun station in recent years, the problems in actual operation, through the electrical equipment, electrical secondary equipment and once the civil part of the design explanation and discussion and analysis of effectiveness, safety, etc, it is concluded that the best equipment configuration for field operation, finally it is concluded that conform to the scene, the optimal design of the actual operation, and puts forward the bridge connection within digital substation integrated automation system the typical design of relay protection configuration. Finally, from the Angle of economic, social and management effect Fucun after commissioning substation integrated automation system for the effect of the evaluation is objective and detailed, and the prospect in the future. The purpose of this paper is to from the substation integrated automation system design and effect analysis of two aspects forShijiazhuang power network intelligent substation integrated automation system development to provide important theoretical basis and practical guidance, secure and stable operation of the equipment in the future and grid reform to provide some beneficial reference for the similar equipment.
