The Development Of Fuel Consumption Measuring Device Of Inland River Ships

According to statistics,more than one third of gasonline and diesel oil products consumption in the transportation field,its energy consumption directly affects the energy-saving effect of the whole society.To establish the monitoring system of energy consumption statistics is the foundation to promote energy conservation management in the industry.In this paper,a fuel consumption measuring device based on capacitance measurement for liquid level combined with GPRS wireless data transmission is developed.Through the existing engine operating conditions and fuel tank structure of inland river ships,puts forward the fuel consumption measurement scheme for inland river ships.The capacitive sensor which is used for the ship,the C/V converting circuit and the hardware circuits of each module and the program flow are designed,then the monitoring processing system is constructed by the liquid-level sensor and microprocessor LM3S1968 as its core,the digital filtering and temperature compensation technology are used in data acquisition and processing.Through the definition of data communication protocol and the design of the GPRS wireless data transmission module,to realize remote real-time monitoring for fuel consumption of inland river ships.Finally,to install the fuel consumption measuring devices which are developed on several inland ships for their possibility testing and the results show that the measuring results of the device are close to the actual data.By setting the fuel consumption data to send to the database information center platform,people can simultaneously query the basic information,mileage,fuel consumption of each measured ship in real time.The program implements the intellectualization of monitoring mode.It provides the foundation data for energy consumption statistics of inland river ships.
