A Research To The Architectural Technique Of Symmetric Axes In Taihao Temple

Huaiyang, with a long history and rich culture, is located in the core central plains of China which generated the ancient Chinese ethical culture. People in honor of this former contributor of Chinese nation’s ancient civilization constructed grand mausoleum and temple. With the improvement of the worship towards this humanities ancestor, the mausoleum scale expands unceasingly, just like the imperial palace of the grand buildings. The temporary memorial tablet of Father Fu Xi is located in the Taihao mausoleum which preserved the ancient land, yarrow grassland natural landscape and embodies the nature harmonious thought as "oneness of man and nature". It is not only rare in Henan province, but also very rare in the country for such a large reasonable scale layout, a long history and culture connotation.This highly historical, artistic or scientific value mausoleum buildings protection, has high historical value, artistic value and scientific value. A more comprehensive and systematic investigation and research is necessary: First, it can provide the basis of detail information for later researchers, Secondly, it can study the traditional construction method, inherit and carry forward the traditional culture.Taking Huaiyang Taihao mausoleum as the main research object, this thesis introduced the special historical and geographical environment of Huaiyang Taihao mausoleum. Based on the methods of literature review, field investigation, this thesis carries analysis on the built history, site selection, general layout, monomer building and building decoration through the perspective of architecture, and demonstrates the layout of architectural group characteristics and the space form; Based on the actual figure of surveying and mapping and collecting data, main monomer building of Huaiyang Taihao mausoleum, the author conducts a detail analysis and comparison, discusses some monomer building to build characteristicand makes clear construction technique of Huaiyang Taihao mausoleum on account of data support from Qing Structural Regulations.Finally, on the basis of the cultural connotation and historical value, scientific value, artistic value analysis, the thesis puts forwards that the protection is not only a general sense of repair from the perspective of cultural relics. On the one hand, people should protect the historical value of the mausoleum,on the other hand, we should adapt to the needs of the development of modern social sustainable ecological protection, and explore the reasonable use of this approach according to its own characteristics.
