The flower culture is deeply explored on the basic of traditional art forms in this paper.According to the traditional flower application and its artistic expression form,the connotation of flower and its application of garden were excavated and sorted out.Then the flower culture is put forward into campus landscape design to the better scenes of campus landscape.The study is mainly combined with the actual situation on campus landscape construction of Mai Lu Campus in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.The flower culture and the landscape of Mai Lu Campus are analyzed comprehensively.As a result,the campus environment will be improved and the teachers and students can learn and live much better.The main contents are as follows:1.The flower culture is a kind of elite culture in cultural and ecological environment by referencing to a large number of documents.It is worth for people to learn,inherit and develop and has been becoming an indispensable part of people’s life in the long river of history.Through the interpretation of one of China’s four famous novels A dream of Red Mansions by Cao Xueqin,the flower of landscape,character hint and so on is rendered,to provide a reference for use of flower culture in the campus landscape.Finally,the important position of flower culture is emphazised in the construction.It is necessary to integrate the flower culture into the campus landscape construction.2.The on-the-spot investigation of South Campus of Mai Lu Campus of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics is carried out according to the plane layout of campus plant variety,plant distribution,ornamental plants,plant structure,and garden use are investigated in this paper.3.After investigating the kinds,conducting a survey of regional distribution and ornamental characteristics of flowers,the information related to flower meaning of plants are summarized.The flower culture of campus is analyzed in the forms of poetry.The characteristics of campus culture of Mai Lu Campus have been embodied in a certain extent,illustrating the positive role of flower culture in campus landscape design.4.Through the investigation,we make a comprehensive evaluation about the landscape and flower culture of of Mai Lu Campus.Then current situation of South Campus landscape is analyzed to find the existing problems.Filthy specific situation is combined to analysis the flower’s request to environmental factors.The principle of design and the design ideas are applied for the flower culture in the university campus landscape.After specific analysis on specific issues of South Campus of Mai Lu Campus,combined with the application of glasses in the form of flower beds,put forward some improvement plan to beautify campus environment.5.Draw lessons from the the campus landscape of South Campus,the surrounding environment of North Campus of Mai Lu Campus was analyzed.Then put forward construction scheme of Central District Traffic roundabout and the northwest corner of the garden combined with the flowers culture.Join the innovation idea,pay attention to the overall construction of the campus.The external flower construction of campus landscape and construct the inherent flower culture are enhanced,which can not only beautify the campus environment,but also can be a very good reflection of beautiful flower meaning.As a result,riching campus culture and highlighting the characteristics of Jiangxi University of Finance and economics.The application of flower and flower culture is closely related.Flower culture as the one of the excellent traditional culture of China is conducive to the progress of campus landscape design,even the campus culture and social,economic,political and cultural development and has a tremendous role in promoting.
