Research On Tibetan Flower Culture And Its Landscape Application

With the rise of Chinese traditional culture,national flower culture plays an increasingly important role in Chinese traditional culture,but with the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization,people’s understanding of ethnic flower culture lacking written records and inheritance is mostly limited to food flower culture and poetry and painting culture.Tibetans are one of the top ten ethnic minorities in China,in order to understand the connection between Tibetans and plants and explore Tibetan flower culture to innovatively apply it to modern life,this paper intends to use historical document analysis methods,interviews with key figures and other methods for research,with the help of books and documents related to Tibetan culture,from the recorded history books about Tibetan totem myths,creation epics,folklore,festival customs,etc.,to excavate the content of flower culture,explore its historical evolution,and then according to the Tibetan habits of use from art and culture,Spiritual beliefs,medical and medicinal uses,dietary life,ecological and cultural aspects are classified and summarized.Through the research and analysis of five practical cases,including the application cases of traditional famous flower culture in garden landscape,the application case of ethnic culture in modern garden landscape,and the application case of Tibetan manishi belief in garden landscape,the application of Tibetan flower culture in landscape design is analyzed and enlightened,and the application of Tibetan flower culture in landscape design is discussed,which provides reference for the practical cases of Tibetan flower culture application in garden landscape,and obtains some enlightenment for modern applications.Finally,taking the ancient city of Dukezong in Shangri-La City,Yunnan Province as an example,the application method of Tibetan flower culture in the landscape is combined with the landscape design of the ancient city of Dukezong by strengthening the external carrier of culture,which is mainly integrated from four aspects,such as architectural decoration,activity scene,plant configuration,and road paving,so as to develop and promote local characteristic traditional culture.It is hoped that it can promote the inheritance and innovative development of Tibetan flower culture,and promote the ethnic flower culture to bring more convenience to people.
