The Research And Development Of Energy Consumption Monitor Online System For Vessel

Vessel has irreplaceable position in the field of international trade transportation with the advantages of large capacity and low freight.But marine exhaust is tremendous and fuel consumption cost accounts for 40% ~ 60% of shipowner's total costs,therefore adopting a more scientific way of monitoring energy consumption for vessels,reducing carbon emissions of shipping,lowering the operating costs for the ship simultaneously to promote the development of shipping industry has far-reaching significance.In view of the current situation that most ships still adopt traditional artificial way of measuring fuel consumption which leads to error or poor timeliness of energy consumption data,this paper developed a set of on-line monitor system of energy consumption for vessel based on intelligent detection and internet technology.The research content of this paper includes main aspects as follows:First,this paper introduces the energy consumption of ship in composition,and analyses the main factors affecting marine diesel engine fuel consumption in order to provide theoretical support for data collection.Additionally the solution that measure fuel consumption of marine engine was proposed according to the working principle of diesel engine and the comparison of fuel consumption calculation method.Then,the hardware drivers and the data acquisition,storage and transmission programs of energy data acquisition terminal based on STM32 microprocessor were completed.In addition,the development of energy consumption monitor and information management system based on LAMP technology and B/S mode was completed.The mobile application combined with Yixin was also developed.The energy consumption monitoring on-line system can realize information exchange between ship and shore management center,which enables owners manage the ship real-timely,comprehensively and dynamically.The system will automatic gather energy consumption on time,which can guarantee the accuracy of data,to a certain extent,can eliminate some holes on the management,facilitate the statistic analysis of operating costs,and greatly improve the working efficiency.Furthermore,the data analysis function also can provide accurate and reliable data support for ship energy saving and scheduling of maintenance plans which will improve comprehensive profit for enterprise.
