With the development of science and technology, electrical equipment is increasing. The power has been applied in everywhere of life.Power quality is related to people's production and life. Power quality control device could ensure the power grid to provide users with high quality of electric energy.It can restrain the voltage distortion, compensate current and realize the adjustment of the multiple power quality, which has a very broad application prospect.In this paper,it designed a power quality control unit based on high power IGBT.It used the TMS32LF28335 as the main control chip.And it used the 2ED300 as the driving module. The power quality control unit is composed of three parts, the main control module, the driving module and the execution module, which have the advantages of high control accuracy, high working current and fast dynamic response.It firstly analyzes the traditional power quality control technology. It discusses the scope of application of different technologies and their advantages and disadvantages.Unified power quality conditioner is the most effective power quality control.It has the highest control accuracy, dynamic control of the best performance of the device.Therefore, the design of power quality control unit based on the unified power quality conditioner technology is determined. Secondly, the principle diagram of power quality control unit is analyzed, which includes the main control unit, drive unit and executive unit.And it focuses on the functional requirements of each unit, the selection of important components and the circuit principle of each part.It introduces the hardware circuit of PCB design, analysis of the circuit design of the stack design, layout and wiring, the protection of key signal. It focuses on the design of the clock signal, analog signal and reset signal in the circuit design, and analyzes the design of the control unit circuit. Finally, it analyses the testing and debugging of the power quality control unit. It analyzes the testing of the hardware circuit, including the circuit board before welding test, after the welding test and on the electric test and so on. It focuses on the debugging of the system hardware circuit. It includes program debugging, serial debugging, reset circuit debugging, current transformer circuit debugging and drive circuit part of the debugging. It analyzes the system level test and aging operation. Through the test, we found that the system function is stable and can meet the design requirements.
