This thesis studies the ERP based solutions to large scale industrial equipment manufacturing project supervision management for domestic enterprise actual requirements in this field. It analyzes the major problems and concrete solutions in industrial equipment manufacturing supervision with emphasis on the production capacity and resource scarcity cases, with the objective to provide a type of practical management scheme for domestic enterprises.Around the abovementioned objectives the thesis at first analyzes the critical factors in typical manufacturing supervision projects, constructs the ERP based general management framework and determines the critical tasks in this framework. The it discusses the concrete techniques to solve the problems from the aspects of manufacturing operational planning, capacity feasibility analysis, manufacturing material and the related capital requirement analysis. Besides theoretical study it also presents how to develop the corresponding information management support tool combined with domestic enterprise's real requirements, to make the studies practical in applications. It discusses the application cases and make some conclusions on these methods features and improvements useful in the future.Theoretical analysis and initial applications shows that ERP system is able to provide a quantitative and unified methods to solve the resource requirements and capacity analysis in manufacturing supervision project managements. The Combination of ERP's notions and techniques with project management principles and provide a reasonable framework to solve the above problems while ERP can also provide the practical data integration and task integration mechanism by which the evaluation information output from this method can be converted into instruction information at execution level which is bilaterally beneficial.
