The boom is the important component of truck crane, and the boom stretching mode directly impacts to the lifting performance and operation reliability of truck crane. Comprehensive stress analysis of crane boom, reasonable select stretching mode and optimal design to the telescopic hydraulic cylinder are one of the key steps of truck crane design, what has important significance for the company's products and gradually improve and enhance market competitiveness.The topic is based on the company existing truck crane, aimed to improve the existing product, to increase the product competitive power. This article, based on the current mainstream telescopic mechanism, takes 25 ton truck crane with four-boom as the prototype to redesign the telescopic mechanism of 25-ton products, referring to the performance parameters of the similar products in the industry.Considering the actual product situation, inputting lifting performance based on existing product. Inputting the parameters based on existing boom length, section and content with no changes to the lifting boom main structure. Selecting the most common construction and connecting way of the existing products construction type of telescopic hydraulic cylinder in our company.The topic takes theoretical analysis and analogy the similar products as the research method, confirming to select the right telescopic mode for our 25 ton:first grade cylinder & two-stage wire rope synchronization telescope mode. This kind of telescopic mode could achieve the synchronized smooth stretch of four-sections telescopic boom, makes the same power to the boom, and the telescopic mechanism with a light weight would help to improve the lifting capacity of the telescopic boom. Meanwhile, to analyze the force of the truck crane boom, to make the optimal object to improve the cylinder weight, all that would be even more effective to reduce the telescopic cylinder weight than using the traditional design ways. And the design result would still more meet with the operation requirements, would effectively improve the lifting capacity for the long boom of the truck crane to promote the product's subsequent market competitive ability.
