With the development of economy,the trend of engineering project is large-scale.Which needs engineering machinery manufacturing enterprises enhance the product property,in order to adapt the variable market demands,It must keep improving products with innovative technology,all these were based on the foundation of keep improving the design technique.Truck crane is an important lifting equipment,the character is flexible and strong-running,which widely used in civil commercial,military and so on.As a big load lift equipment,the condition of structure design directly influence to working performance even the final cost.the truck crane manufacturing enterprises always being conservative on the product material using,which causes the structure of telescopic boom strength redundancy and the material utilization is insufficient.Structure optimization needs the designer deeply use the software,and on the similar structure of different size and shape needs repeated modeling.It waste of time,thus its increase the cost of product development.In view of the above problems,this paper lead parametric virtual design,structural topology optimization,buckling analysis into the medium and small tonnage telescopic boom design process.Based on a review of related literature at home and abroad,Through the factory investigation defined the parameter characteristics of truck crane boom structure.Extract the actual structure characteristic parameters,load and operating parameters about medium and small tonnage telescopic boom,Taking U type truck crane at a specific tonnage crane boom as the research object.According to the boom of actual working state.Through the method topology optimization and buckling analysis to analyse the cross section of the boom structure and corresponding finite element model analysis to find out the method which is simple,high precision,easy-achieve program on finite element modeling and analysis method.Based on the advantage of this method in finite element analysis about telescopic boom.This paper introduced parametric design concepts into the structure design of telescopic boom,according to the design code of crane(GB/T3 811-2008),defined variable parameter to structure size and load and material attribute,grid size parameters of different telescopic boom.By using the TCL program in Hyperworks to achieve the parameterized modeling of the boom structure,through topology optimization,buckling analysis can output the results.Finally,with VB as the platform,exploit the stability analysis of sections of truck crane boom topology optimization and parametric design system.And QY25U telescopic boom topology optimization as a project example,in the specific conditions,validating the usability of a system.The result indicates,this system is intuitive parameter input interface,convenient man-machine dialogue,the using way of run in background,all make the designer not need to grasp the deep virtual design is based on the theory topology optimization and buckling analysis,thereby,reduce the use of technical difficulty,expand the practical range,the result has a role promoting about improving product level of truck crane.
