To improve the effective utilization of equipment and reduce maintenance cost,three equipment maintenance models including preventive maintenance optimization model,spare parts ordering decision optimization model,and joint optimization model were constructed based on the fault prognostic technology.These models were the practice of preventive maintenance against the unknown degenerate distribution equipment system combining with modern equipment management theory.In order to meet the request of the equipment availability and reliability and decrease the maintenance cost of the equipment,the algorithms of Seeker Optimization Algorithm(SOA)was used to get the best optimizing variable of the models.The paper introduced fault prognostic technology,remaining useful life,and maintenance strategy optimization,as well as their optimization algorithms.According to these theories,The paper constructed the preventive maintenance optimization model and spare parts ordering decision optimization model,on which prognostic was based.The equipment availability was selected as constraints of these two models,and the total cost was identified as optimization objective.Four parameters of the two models including best equipment preventive maintenance cycle,preventive maintenance threshold,the best fault prognostic interval,and spare parts ordering threshold were optimized using SOA.On the basis of the above two models,fault prognostic,preventive maintenance and spare parts management were jointly optimum to construct the joint optimization model.The preventive maintenance and spare parts management based on prognostic were jointed in this model,and the algorithms of SOA was used to obtain the best optimizing variable.The best equipment fault prognostic interval,preventive maintenance threshold,and spare parts ordering threshold were obtained and thus realized the rational preventive maintenance and optimum configuration of spare parts inventory.In this study,corresponding examples of each model were introduced and was optimized using SOA and MATLAB software programming.The examples were performed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of each model,which provided a theoretical foundation for the equipment management in enterprise.
