Large deployable mesh antenna, which is attracting more and more attention of space navigation scholars all over the world, is an important type for deployable mesh antenna for satellites. Astro Mesh is an important structural type of large deployable mesh antenna. This thesis is mainly concerned with the configuration synthesis design of large antenna, which consisted of simplifying the numerical method for calculation of surface accuracy, designing for parabolic reflectors of mesh antenna and verifying the electrical performances of designed antenna. On the basis of proposed method and the engineering project, the main research work can be described as follows.Firstly, aimed at simplifying the numerical method for calculation of surface accuracy, the properties of area coordinate are introduced. The numerical integration method of area coordinates for triangular region is discussed in detail. Hammer integration is introduced to calculate the profile accuracy of Astro Mesh. This method greatly simplifies the complexity of calculating the accuracy of the surface accuracy.Secondly, the thesis introduced classical form-finding method. Based on this, a kind of vertical coordinate optimization algorithm(the improved form-finding method) is proposed. Then this method does not require points of intersection of these triangles are projected or mapped on the parabolic surface. Based on this premise, the classical form-finding method and Hammer integration method is combined. In order to find the effective and high precision of the cable net, a new method is obtained, which is based on the initial value of the node coordinates information obtained by the classical force density, the grid node coordinates as variables, the tension equilibrium as the constraint condition and the minimum axial accuracy.Finally, in order to verify the accuracy and practicability of the proposed method, the rational model of Astro Mesh, the model obtained by classical form-finding, the model obtained by improved form-finding method,are built on the ninth version of Grasp. By comparison, the electrical performance of improved form-finding model is more close to the rational model. Then the accuracy and practicability of the proposed method is proved.
