C Hrand Electre Pick-Up Truck Design Exploration Base On Modular Design

As China’s automobile consumption group is younger and the situation of the market saturation,automotive design will face a major change in the future,how to meet the multi-demand of consumer and reduce cost at the same time become a problem need to be solved by the entire automotive industry.Electric vehicle,as the future development trend of the automobile industry,is more conducive to to meet diversified market demand through the way of modularization.This study is by analyzing the present situation and development of auto industry modularization,according to the structure characteristics of the electric car and the demand of the target user,take the pickup truck as the specific design carrier,design a modular concept electric pickup for the Chevrolet.On the one hand,through the analysis about the structure of pickup truck,this paper proposes a electric pickup module partition method,strengthen the flexibility of function and appearance change,reduce the use cost and conducive to meet the multi-demand of consumers.On the other hand,through investigation and analysis of Chinese pickup market,combine with the Chevrolet design language,proposes a new exterior design proposal.
