Image Changes Of Contemporary Rural Architecture

We live in an era of images life was surrounded by riddled images,however, the development of things are influenced by images. For countryside of Xiaoshan, the first batch of rural area with rapid economic development in China’s reform an opening up, practically has created a picture of the Contemporary Rural Architecture. From generally vernacular-dwelling scale to large construction of villages and towns, the image of building township-buildings as bizarre bacteria is growing in the countryside. Unlike traditional dwellings in Xiaoshan, since the rapid economic development, modern new single-family houses have developed into a unique residential style of Xiaoshan in just ten years. Buildings emphasize the effect of the external image, through the external decorative-techniques, which mixes up the Chinese architectural styles and western architectural styles. After being accepted by the villagers, the image of the residential building has not only gradually formed a complete set of production-mode, but also widely spread in rural areas of Xiaoshan. Meanwhile, the government actively implements large-scale rural urbanization, The construction of the new countryside, which is guided by the town planning, has almost become the rough printing house of the modern city. A large number of images of public buildings that used to be settled in cities have appeared in the rural areas of Xiaoshan,in which has presented a non-urban and non-rural outlooks with mixture about the images of public buildings and the images of the contemporary rural-dwellings,.Or we can say that high density aggregation of mediocre things would become one feature.From the perspective of image, this paper would like to discuss the image features of architecture in rural area of Xiaoshan. Also, paper not only lays special stress on the transformation between traditional rural image and the modern architecture image,but also to think about how does the meaning of image change in this era? In the face of those rural buddings who have been kidnapped by images,shall we be more consciously reflect on cultural significance of the building image which produced in this era.
