The geometric tolerance is a key indicator of mechanical parts precision design.The detection and evaluation of geometric tolerance has been a focused topic in the technologies' groups from domestic and overseas.The research of detection scheme,mathematical model and evaluation algorithm is much deeper.The application of three coordinates measuring has integrated the computer technology into detection and data processing.Considering the test cost and practical problems,the small enterprises and production fields mostly use dial indicator(or gauge)for detecting and get error results through artificial calculation.A geometric tolerance detection system has been built to solve these problems above.This system concludes the data collect device and a software platform which is based on Labview.Several main aspects of working have been completed.1.A geometric tolerance detection platform has been built.Mechanical construction has been designed to fulfill the automation of measuring and improve the drawbacks of traditional measuring method through dot dash line.2.Create the mathematical model of minimum zone method,least square method and approximate method of straightness and flatness error in rectangular coordinate system.And the characteristics of the inclusive assessment are analyzed,the computer processing of the data is realized.3.design method.This system could collect,store and process the data of geometric tolerance and quickly judge the qualification of the part through searching the standard database.4.The correctness and feasibility of program will be verified through a lot of experiment.Contrast test has been taken between random and dot collection of data.The results show that the data of random collection is more comprehensive,objective and fair.The relative error is within 3.4% for processing surface.
