Ultra-nigh performance Concrete is a new type of composite material, also called reactive powder concrete. Compared to ordinary concrete, it has advantages like eultra-high strength, higher toughness, higher impermeability, durability and so on. The use of ultra-high performance concrete in practical projects can reduce the structural cross-sectional dimension, reduce the structural weight, save material usage, extend the life of the material. The most significant advantage of ultra-high performance concrete is its extremely high comprehensive strength, and arch structure are bent structure, which takes full advantage of ultra-high performance concrete's comprehensive strength characteristics, and its mechanical properties is worthy of further study. This article has been studied and discussed about the application of ultra-high performance concrete arch rib bridge. Referring to the study of ultra-high performance concrete rib arch bridge in feasibility and superiority, the main content and the corresponding results are as follows:(1)This article optimized analyzing the design of RPC rib arch bridge of rectangular cross-section with ANSYS software. Optimal design of concrete material and rib's cross-sectional dimensions of the design variables, within a certain range of deflection and stress, make rib achieving the minimum volume, found the optimal cross-sectional dimensions of rib, its height and width of about 0.80h and 0.833b of ordinary concrete;(2)To establish RPC rib arch bridge and ordinary concrete arch bridge by Midas model, and to study the static performance for both,compare their stress,bending moment,axial force and shear, the result is that due to the decrease of cross-sectional size, RPC arch rib's stress than ordinary concrete as much as 20%?34%, and RPC rib arch bridge's moment, axial force, shear force than ordinary concrete rib arch bridge as smaller as 14%?35%;(3)To analysis the dynamic characteristics of RPC rib arch bridge and original concrete rib arch bridge, and to compare the two natural frequencies and mode shapes, the result is that after decrease its cross-sectional size the first ten natural frequencies of RPC rib arch bridge is smaller than ordinary concrete arch bridge, as smaller as 1%?15%;(4) To study their stiffness by comparing the two vertical displacement of rib,the result is that RPC rib arch bridge's vertical displacement of the control section is larger than that of ordinary concrete, the former is 1.01 to 1.12 times the latter, Referring to the stiffness of RPC rib arch bridge is smaller than ordinary concrete arch bridge, stability problems may exist, and analyzed theoretically the RPC arch rib crack resistance has been enhanced;(5) To analyze the stability of RPC rib arch bridge and ordinary concrete arch rib, and to compare the size of their stability factor,the result is that RPC rib arch bridge's stability factor is smaller than ordinary concrete arch bridge, as smaller as 23%-33%.
