The asphalt pavement have advantage of driving comfortable, easy to mechanization construction and construction speed is quick, so the highway construction in our country mainly composed of asphalt pavement.But most of the asphalt surface using performance and life are not optimistic.because of the increased as the growth of the traffic and overloading vehicles, the quality of the asphalt surface become more and more high, especially at the time of early put into use.The present domestic specification to give various grading range are fixed and broader extension.According to the standard design and construction of many appear ooze water, high temperature stability of asphalt pavement diseases and problems such as insufficient. Therefore, optimizing the gradation and more reasonable gradation design parameters is a problem to be solved. In addition, the specification of asphalt mixture gradation design parameters with wider range of control. Across the country regardless of any region or climate conditions are given according to the current standard requirements of quality control. This will occur even in some areas built in many indicators meet the standard requirements of asphalt pavement is still might be a problem. Limit at all levels with the scope of design parameters in different areas has also become a problem to solve.This article is based on Nanning outer ring asphalt pavement project of Guangxi province, combined with the mineral aggregate near Nanning and AC-25, AC-20, AC-13 asphalt mixture gradation, studied and analyzed the aggregate gradation design and optimization of process. Influence the asphalt mixture is analyzed and the geometric parameters and the impact factor of each performance index so as to put forward a clear gradation design range. Raising the level of overall design of AC type asphalt mixture, at the same time also has certain guidance function for construction quality control. The article also analyses the material variability of gradation design parameters, the influence of the parameters in determining when to take into account variability can more accurate design meet the road with the performance of the highway.The research content of this article mainly aims at the asphalt pavement of guangxi region. Strive for in the specification basis to find a more suitable for the grading range of guangxi region, and more precisely determine the extent of grading and gradation design parameters, thus improve the region of guangxi road asphalt roadbed, the construction quality and management level.
