Water damage of asphalt pavement as a form of the early damage of asphalt pavement, greatly reduce the service life of the road, and increase of the highway maintenance and repair costs.As the same time it impact on the traffic safety and road transport capacity. So the research on water damage of asphalt pavement has important social and economic benefits.The research of water damage of the key is to find good performance through reasonable test methods of new materials.Selecting Antistripping agent, SBS and Superflex modifier, respectively, and 70 # asphalt modified asphalt with different configuration, different asphalt with three representative aggregate(granite, limestone, basalt) for a series of tests. Determine Superflex enrichment modified asphalt as a thin layer covering material has excellent resistance to water damage ability.This article first through Superflex determined by orthogonal experiments of modified asphalt in the configuration process in the process of test. Mainly using dynamic shear rheometer, considering different blending amount under different process conditions and the high temperature and low temperature stability of the modified asphalt,so as to determine the modified asphalt shear rate, shear time, cutting temperature and the dosage. Through the infrared spectrum analysis of its functional group modified asphalt, determine whether asphalt modified chemical reactions can occur.Second improved the boiling method of aggregate and asphalt test and proposes the corresponding quantitative indicators, to determine the Superflex modified asphalt with alkaline and neutral bedrock aggregate has good adhesion performance significantly. For one of the indicators to analyze its peeling rate with brinell viscosity, rutting factor and the correlation between fatigue factor. By electron microscopic scanning analysis different aggregate and Superflex modified asphalt peeling rate differences.Finally, the Superflex modified road asphalt mixture is studied. On Superflex rutting test of modified asphalt mixture at high temperature, in order to meet the engineering actual situation, adjust and improve the thickness of the current specification requirements and test procedures, draw a thin layer of mask surface Superflex better stability of modified asphalt mixture at high temperature. To simulate the actual situation of road surface water damage, the use of immersion rutting plate, increase the number wheel role exacerbating water damage.To simulate the pit slot through the existing equipment put forward new test methods. Mixture of basic mechanics experiment was carried out based on the MTS testing machine, the design of simple shear test at the same time, the comparative evaluation of the various in rutting, water damage of asphalt mixture under the condition of shear resistance.
