Research On The Classification And Shaping Of Urban Landmark

Since the new century, China opened the world’s largest urbanization, a large number of modern city stands in the east. Unified the concrete forest, meanwhile, become a fashion style, the difference between cities is more and more small, City region characteristic and individuality gradually submerged in the flourishing city building, lead to thousands of the cities look the same. Looking for the city’s personality characteristics, shaping the unique city image, retain nostalgia, is an important subject of current urban planning. City landmarks is the important carrier to show urban character, it is necessary to shape city landmarks scientifically.In this paper, based on the analysis of domestic and foreign city landmark case and classifying city landmarks,explore the influencing factors of city landmark, and study the shaping method theory of generality and individuality of urban landmark, finally, apply the theory to practice in Maanshan center city landmark building.The paper is divided into five parts:(1) The introduction:Illustrated the research background and research significance of this article, defined the concept of the research object, analyzed and summarized.the related theory and research actuality.(2) Classification:Selected the cases that have formed the good city landmarks at home and abroad for sample.And have a comprehensive analysis of the sample case. and classify city landmarks from the perspective of typology.(3) Influencing factors:Summarized the various factors affecting the city landmarks.(4) Landmark building methods summary:Put forward the basic principle of shaping city landmarks, research the method of all kinds of city landmarks commonness and individuality.(5) Practice:Quoted the center part of Maanshan City as an example, Apply the theory to practice.
