Design And Research Of Protective Facilities For Heritage Buildings

Protective facilities are essential components and important supplementary conditions of heritage building conservation. Nowadays, With the awareness of heritage building conservation progressing and the investment increasing, the improper construction of protective facilities is not conducive to the heritage building conservation, it will have a negative effect, even destroy the heritage building. Therefore, in order to solve the problem of insufficient understanding of protective facilities, we should have to make further research on the design the protective facility.With the comparative study of the design theory, methods and examples of domestic and foreign protective facilities for heritage buildings, the thesis attempt to clarify the design features of the protective facilities for heritage buildings. On the basis of the investigations and the comparative study on the existing design cases, the development of protective facilities for heritage buildings, the type of division, aspects of the design methods and strategies are summarized and analyzed.The research paper has 5 sections:1. In the first chapter, we discuss the research contexts and research conditions, and explain the content and fraction of the research;2. chapter 2 analyzes the types of the protective facilities for heritage buildings, and Summarizes previous Classifications, pointing out the problems and deficiencies. On the basis of the study, we propose a new classification system, and include the appropriate cases to analyze.3. In chapter 3, we summarize the design concept and goals of the protective facilities for heritage buildings. Besides, we put forward the design principle of protective facilities. The design methods and strategies described in a detailed analysis.4. Based on the above studies, the thesis attempt to put the design of the protective facilities for the Lishui natural bridge in Nanjing into a analysis system. With the serious consideration of the various factors relating to the project and the comparison of the various design methods, techniques, and details, design features and architectural design will be proposed in planning, architectural design and engineering aspects.5.In the final chapter, it is tempting to conclude that the protective facilities for heritage buildings is an important part in the conservation of cultural relics construction engineering. It is important to the value of cultural relics architecture Protection and transmission. The research on the type of protective facilities and design strategy is important for guiding the practical engineering.
