With the railway freight transport demand in China's sustainable and rapid growth, the contradiction between transportation demand and transportation capacity has become increasingly prominent. On the one hand, transportation capacity needs carrying out large-scale construction as well as improving efficiency of the existing transportation resources potential on the other hand. National development of the heavy haul transportation experience shows that in some lines, improving freight vehicle axle load is a way to effectively increase the capacity. Heavy haul railway has the characteristics of large capacity, high efficiency and low cost, which is one of the main directions of railway freight transportation development. According to the practical experience at home and abroad of heavy haul transportation, the implementation of heavy haul transportation can significantly prolong the service life of the rail, reduce fuel consumption per ton kilometer, reduce the amount of traffic, reduce our passenger and transport personnel quantity, raise the train running safety, reduce line maintenance and operation cost, and obtain remarkable economic benefits.Based on the analysis of research status at home and abroad, firstly, the heavy haul railway traction mode, heavy haul train CDB way, heavy haul transportation structure model, heavy load transportation mode and build-up of heavy haul train marshalling and disintegration unloading method were studied. Then, combined with the use of 30 t axle load truck, the main constraints, including a line with the station, the train traction power, railway vehicle, power supply equipment, the capacity of loading and unloading, transportation organization of 30 t axle load of heavy haul railway suitable mode and train the corresponding CDB way were studied. Secondly, the analysis of the technical characteristics of 30 tons axle load of heavy trucks, the now in use vehicle axle load, load is small, the weight coefficient is higher, developed by our country in recent years km98(H) model coal hopper car overcomes the above problems. The weight coefficient of the foreign hopper car is 0.23, and there is a big gap between the technical and economic indicators. Based on the present situation of the development of the coal hopper car, this thesis studies the structure, main parameters, use and maintenance of the KM98(H)- type hopper car, and analyzes its technical and economic model. Thirdly, the dissertation introduces the Shenhua railway transportation system, of Shenhua railway system operating conditions, CDB 30 t tons axle load of heavy haul train external environment, Shenhua railway cargo flow and transport organization status are studied. Shenhua railway is not only important profit growth point of the Shenhua Group, but also the recycling Shenhua's important strategic fulcrum. So the strategic decision of Shenhua Group is to accelerate the development of railway business, increase the intensity of railway construction. Transportation business is the backbone of the company to turn resource advantages into development advantages. Using the current favorable opportunity to accelerate the development, to perfect the transport network system, to extend coal resources as a starting point to the main regional markets, planning, construction, operation of railways, ports and Haijiang shipping channel, continue to consolidate and develop unique advantages in resources and support efficiency. Heavy haul transportation is undoubtedly the release capacity, effective way to improve the efficiency of transport. According to the distribution situation of Shenhua railway line layout and coal, the heavy haul railway model belongs to semi open mode. Shenhua railway along the loading point scattered, dedicated lines, according to the situation can be open line type, unit type, combination of three types of heavy trains. At the end of this thesis, the Shenhua railway development of 30 t axle load of heavy haul transportation organization scheme are studied and the economic benefit is analyzed.
