Based on the long-term benefits, LCC management apply a series of advanced technology and management methods for the purpose of achieving the lowest cost and the highest efficiency on the condition that the equipment quality and operation reliability should be ensured. Life cycle cost management of transformers could minimize the precious energy consumption and provide a strong support for the sustainable development strategy.This paper firstly briefly introduces the application of life cycle cost(LCC) in smart grid and establishes the life cycle cost model of power transformer based on the life cycle cost theory. And in order to obtain more uniform sampling, the Latin hypercube sampling is utilized to simulate by this paper. Secondly, in order to effectively analyze the influence of uncertain factors for LCC of power transformer, the Monte-Carlo simulation and spearman correlation coefficient are utilized to make uncertain and sensitivity analysis.Then the risk probability and the major factors of life cycle cost for power transformer can be got. Finally, this model proposed by the paper is utilized to the choice of capacity and number of power transformer so as to ensure this goal of the security and reliability of power system, reduce of investment cost, optimizing of equipment selection process.
