Electrical control and management system(ECMS) based on fieldbus technology is becoming more and more popular in power plants design. This article studys the auxiliary power monitoring methods of Huaneng Anyuan power plant integrated with use and experience on auxiliary power monitoring of Jiangxi electrical power design institute.Discuss different monitoring methods in detail, and supplying technical and economic comparison of every methods. On the principle of reliability and advancement, complete fieldbus wiring is recommended. This method decreases DCS I/O points, increasing communication information, strengthening function of electrical software, increasing automatic level and ability to determine fault, and decreasing lots of cables. Compared to general hard-wired wiring, complete fieldbus wiring used in auxiliary power monitoring system can reduce the project cost as much as 4.26 million yuan. Fieldbus technology will be the main stream of auxiliary power monitoring system.ECMS of Huaneng Anyuan power plant uses open stratification, distributed network structure. All the control system is divided into station control layer and spacer layer, network structure uses three level equipment and two level network. Equipment in station control layer is responsible for centralized monitoring of all the system. Two operator workstations are set in station control layer, the operator can control and monitor breaker and isolating switch(include earthing switch) through operator station.Control and measure unit in spacer layer can monitor breaker and isolating switch(include earthing switch). Control in spacer layer is independent from station control layer, fault in station control layer will not affect the operation of spacer layer. Station control layer and spacer layer exchange information through communication cable of redundant network. Station control layer communicates with Unit DCS and factory level management system SIS.Spacer layer of ECMS in Huaneng Anyuan power plant uses complete fieldbus wiring,and monitoring range covers all the distribution system of all the plant.ECMS of Huaneng Anyuan power plant,At the same time, build a complete and comprehensive data system for customer. Supply complete life cycle management for operation, management, maintain and overhaul of the equipment in the future. Considering the stabilizing factor of the communication network, this scheme need run time verification to be widely uses.
