So the waterfront landscape is an important interface of urban landscape and regional ecological system is an important ecological corridor, from the Angle of ecology, landscape planning for urban waterfront space research is advantageous to the construction of urban waterfront landscape, restore and improve ecological environment, urban waterfront space is to promote space of waterfront landscape and ecological sustainable development of the important research direction.Urban waterfront area, however, because of its special geographical position and history, especially the excessive development of the modern waterfront, the waterfront environment problem is particularly prominent.This thesis through the landscape planning and ecology of urban waterfront space to study related aspects, proposed in recent years, the domestic construction of waterfront space main problems are:the lack of ecological function, crushing, failure of ecosystems, biodiversity, ecological planning idea backwardness, serious water pollution, natural feeling weak, landscape scale imbalance, hydrophilic is not strong, lack of participation and so on.Through analyzing the characteristics of the urban waterfront space, summarizes the main types of urban waterfront space under the ecology, the ecological protection type space, ecological space xs, and low interference of waterfront open space and urban waterfront space; Level in ecology, urban waterfront space form mainly for patch, corridor and matrix, the influence of ecological environment of the space form mainly for length, width, curvature of space and structure.
