| Types of land use in downtown are complex and the land is intensely exploited, therefore, downtown would attract much parking demand, and at which parking problem is pretty serious. Being an important component of the types in downtown, malls can attract much parking demand and have parking problem in daytime, however, they can only attract small demand at night, and parking facilities are often unsaturated. Shared parking provides one parking lot to two or more buildings, whose parking demand is independent and non-interfering on time, therefore, this paper tries to introduce shard parking to malls in downtown, which aims to relieve or solve the serious parking problem and improve utility of parking facilities.This paper sets parking facilities of typical malls in downtown as the main study object, and the key problem needed to be solved is to model the forecast of parking demand through time and propose a method to determine shared time window of malls. Based on the analysis of parking characters and shard parking adaptability of typical malls, this paper models parking demand through time based on time series analysis and proposes the determination method of shared time window. This paper also analyzes parking behavior choice laws of parking spaces users, based on which, the optimal analysis of shared time window is done.First of all, this paper analyzes parking characters and shard parking adaptability of typical malls in downtown. Then, three conditions of implementation of shared parking are proposed, that is regular parking demand, unsaturated period and existing shared parking demand. Based on these three conditions, an investigation plan is designed, and this paper researches the parking characters from six indexes. This study finds that parking characters on weekdays are very obvious and stable, and the unsaturation period is very long, which means it is enough to implement shared parking. However, parking characters on weekends and holidays are not as stable as weekdays, even though they can meet the implementation conditions of shared parking.Then, this paper analyzes common forecast method of parking demand and their application scopes. Based on this, to forecast parking demand of typical malls in downtown through time, this paper introduces time series analysis method to model parking demand forecast based on whether the series data is stationary or not. Then, this paper sets two indexes, minimum number of shared parking spaces and minimum shared duration, and proposes determination method of shared time window. Then, the feasibilities of the model and method are verified based on measured data.At last, this paper divides users of parking spaces into two categories, regular users and irregular users, and analyzes parking behavior choice characters of the two categories. Then, this paper models the adjustment of parking behavior choice based on Logit model. After that, this paper redistributes parking demand based on variation of parking behavior choice, and adjusts shared time window based on the new parking demand. Two indexes, variation of free spaces and increment of duration of shared time window, are introduced to evaluate the adjustment of shared time window,In the end, this paper verifies the effect and meaning of the adjustment method of shared time window. |
