Research On Tourist Regeneration Of Characteristic Town Based On The ’Urban Repair’ Ideology

In the context of the hot development of leisure tourism, characteristic towns actively seeking to use its advantages to develop tourism. Tourism brings towns the stress of crowds and traffic. In order to adapt to tourism, the updating of functions, architecture and landscape is needed in towns, but in reality there have been many issues during the update process, such as:the construction destroys the characteristic, a large demolition and construction interferes urban run, the net of communities is affected and so on. In the discussion of the issues, the characteristic towns should be updated on the basis of authenticity protection of the characteristics and low interference on the towns.There are many characteristic towns prefer the development of tourism. We need to find a scientific theory in line with modern development status to guide the tourism adaptive update of characteristic towns. In 2015, as Sanya was listed as the first city of "double repair" policy, the "urban repair" theory now is under hot discussion. The theory is fully recognized and becomes the new direction of modern urban updating, the general consistent of the "small scale progressive updating" tallies with the need of characteristics towns’updating adaptation with tourism. Therefore, this article attempts to deeply research the connotation of the theory of "urban repair" and seek new ideas about updating adaption with tourism, taking into account the authenticity protection of characteristics and low interference on the towns.This paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges of characteristic towns’ development of tourism, then certain the content and the direction of tourism updating in characteristic towns. Secondly, the paper summarizes the development background, typical case and theory related of the theory of "urban repair", and results in the basic principles and content of the theory. Finally, on the base of applying the theory to the characteristics towns’updating adaptation with tourism, the paper proposes basic principles, methods and content, with building methods and strategies applicable to the characteristics towns’updating adaption with tourism. Actual case of Yinjiang Town, Ningbo is used to explore the practical significance of methods and strategies.
