In recent years, with the cyclical downturn in the shipbuilding market and increase labor costs, the cost of low added value shipping has become a key issue. Analyzing the production cost, shortening production cycle, and reducing inter-process inventory become common research direction. In technology, ship building painted shell has become more popular in integrated shipbuilding firms, and it continues to mature as a modern model of the global shipbuilding.In this paper, aiming to the production under Jiangsu Rongsheng Heavy Industries Co., Ltd, on the basis from extensive production management to fine management, and in order to solve the problems in the extensive management including uncontrollable segmentation production cycle, mismatching between segmented production schedule and demand, too large semi-finished inventory, etc, it focuses on promoting the work management, pallet management, performance appraisal of project implementation. In this paper, the standing point and destiny include how to improve the production efficiency of shell loaded, which is the shipbuilding segment first part of the construction, how to reduce the inventory, and how to better convergence of internal processes.Firstly, combined with the actual plant facilities, the productibn process from the staging elaborate is analyzed in accordance with the modular production ideas so as to establish procedures tray, on-demand production, semi-finished products and to reduce inventory; Secondly, in order to strictly control the cycle time, on the basis of making the focus of the tray research cut working hours of part tray, with a more refined plans to send workers to promote inter-process interface requirements, it can help to obtain bottlenecks between processes, and continue to improve.
