With the rapid development of science and technology as well as national economy, the use of vehicles has spread to various fields like military, agriculture, forestry and so on. In order to provide a comfortable and safe driving environment, vehicle passing capacity evaluation has attracted more and more attention. People want to have a series of security evaluation criteria or evaluation system to guide them passing a variety of flat or non-flat surface quickly without injury. In order to meet the public demand, vehicle passing capacity evaluation has become a hot research topic for domestic and foreign scholars. The research on vehicle passing capacity evaluation can help us detect passing capacity of the vehicle in advance as well as choose the best driving plan based on vehicle parameters collected.In this paper,a system was built to obtain mechanical properties of the vehicle and some other vehicle status parameters. Functions like data acquisition, display, storage, and simulation analysis was built in the system. Hardware design includes selection of the desired sensor modules and data transmission modules designing. Software design includes data acquisition and control, de-noising, display and storage. In order to study the intrinsic relevance between the various system parameters, some of them were used to establish a mathematical model. Mathematical modeling and analysis was conducted in software MATLAB. At last, an experiment was taken to demonstrate the feasibility of the system.
