Study On The Cost Control Of Engineering Project Using FIDIC Contract Mode

With the continuous development of the global economy,the number of Chinese construction companies is gradually increasing,and it is also gradually added to the competition in the construction market.Furthermore,with the rapid development of economic construction,the process of urbanization is increasingly pushing forward in our country;the construction of building engineering has been unprecedented development.And because of the large investment in construction projects,it is very important to reduce construction cost.FIDIC clause has become the "Bible" in the construction industry.In this contract,the engineering aspects of technology,economy,management and law are all given a clear definition and regulations.Because of our country at present the construction project cost control are mostly concentrated in the pre decision-making and design stage,the use of FIDIC contract cost management theory to the construction cost control of the relevant research is relatively small.This paper studies the theory of FIDIC contract cost management,and analyzes and compares the relevant literature data of the FIDIC contract terms and the domestic construction project contract cost management theory.First of all,the FIDIC contract terms were described in detail,and the FIDIC contract terms and the status quo of application in the domestic and foreign projects were analyzed and comparison.Secondly,the theory of cost control of FIDIC contract was studied,including the construction of the project cost,project cost control and comprehensive cost management theory,from the decision-making stage,design stage,bidding stage and construction stage,etc..This theory of construction contract conditions and cost management of construction projects in China was introduced,and analyzed and compared from different aspects of FIDIC cost management theory and our country's domestic construction project contract cost management theory.Finally,combining with the concrete engineering example,the engineering quality,construction period,cost and safety,environment and other aspects of the actual use of engineering cost control measures and corresponding measures are analyzed.
