Timely and accurate distribution network fault location and isolation, is a core part of distribution automation. After the fault occurred in distribution network, intelligent terminal upload the information accurately and in a timely manner to determine the fault area and isolation, reducing outage area, shortening the outage time, power is restored to accelerate and enhance supply reliability. Distributed power greatly improved reliability and intelligence level of distribution network. However, the introduction of distributed power, changed the traditional distribution network flow structure and operation mode. The different from those of conventional power distributed power, is bound to the design, operation and protection of the distribution network to bring new problems. This topic recalls that summarized the results of domestic and foreign research distribution network fault location, described the two programs distributed power grid capacity due to the different formation, summed to give account distributed power distribution system fault locating general principles need to be considered. In modeling, the subject proposed a Bayesian network fault location algorithm combined with genetic algorithm is applied to a single distribution network models with distributed power. The model based on the relay examples protection action logic for each element Bayesian network modeling, using the maps thus formed to give circuit breakers and protection action expectations, building the target function, and then through genetic algorithm, test results of the distribution network fault location. Algorithm and Model issues raised by a single point of failure, multiple points of failure, lack of information to protect the three aspects of the test, the test results show that the algorithm used in this project feasible and reasonable model.
