With the continuous development of social economics in our country,security of power supply is demanded by more and more customers.Distribution network is the last part of power system which faces to the customers directly and the key to improve the reliability of power supply,so it is essential that the Distribution Automation System should be prompted on a large scale.As one of the most important technologies of distribution automation,feeder automation is able to monitor the status of distribution network on real time and detect and isolate the fault feeder line and restore power supply for outage area as soon as possible while fault appears.According to the basic requirements of feeder automation in smart distribution network,the thesis studies the algorithms of fault location and network reconfiguration in distribution network.Currently,the efficiency of fault location and network reconfiguration is affected by the low integration of feeder automation as there are many communication protocols used by feeder terminals and terminal that are unable to interoperate,so this thesis studies the theory of IEC61850,and applies it to distribution automation to establish unified information model for feeder terminals.After that,the thesis focuses on the algorithm of fault location in feeder automation based on master mode.By describing the relationship between information of switch overcurrent and condition of line fault in the form of matrix and adopting the degree of approaching between theoretical and actual fault information of switch as the foundation of the fitness function,the thesis combines the matrix algorithm and genetic algorithm,and applies them to distribution network with distributed generation,and uses an example to verify the validity of the algorithm.While the fault happens in the distribution network,power restoration for outage area should be carried out through restoration reconfiguration quickly.This thesis is aimed at reducing network loss and the frequency of switching operations.It combines the genetic algorithm which is based on decimal coding and applies the genetic algorithm to the reconfiguration of distribution network with distributed generation.And it also verifies the feasibility of algorithm through illustrative examples.At last,the hardware and software of the feeder terminal based on IEC61850 are designed so that it can be applied to feeder automation.
