Design And Development Of The Application For The Car Networking Based On Android Platform And OBD-?

With the development of sensor technology, network technology, communication technology and the demand for road safety, green travel, convenient travel, Car Networking have became the focus of the development of the major car companies. At the same time, the rapid development of smart phone gradually becomes a common carrier of application of Car networking. The subject has researched realization of Car networking that take advantage of OBD-?interface of vehicle to finish data-aware layer of Car Networking and take advantage of smart phone to finish data communication layer of Car Networking what aimed at data processing.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The current research situation of domestic and foreign of Car Networking and a summary induction of development status simultaneously were finished. According to the analysis and comparison, a variety of functional modules of Car Networking and own system architecture were established. The architecture is that smart phone has been used to upload data to a remote server for data processing(2)Through comparing 4 kinds of smart phone platform commonly used in the market, Android phone was selected as a client development platform. Hardware which based on ELM327 chip communicated with OBD-?interface of vehicle to obtain data from OBD system and according to the protocol of OBD, the software has analyzed the data which has been gathered. Then paper has built development environment of STM32F103 chip and finished development of data-aware hardware which is based on CAN protocol. Finally the software has analyzed the data through the CAN protocol.(3)Function modules of software of Car Networking: data service module of vehicle, service module of application, module of trouble rescue, software settings module were designed. Then paper has built the developing environment of software. At the same time, based on designed module of function and Visio soft, the prototype of UI was finished. Based on the UI prototype, the paper also has finished interface of software. Lastly, the function module of the software is realized by programming.(4)Firstly the integration of the modules was finished. OBD MINI simulator and realistic vehicle were used to test the whole system. The result of test has indicated that the whole system of Car Networking can collect data of OBD and CAN system of Vehicle in time. Based on the network which is carried by smart phone, the system has uploaded data to the remote server what is used to analyze and store data. The paper has provided a reliable project for application system of Car Networking.
