The original unbalance value generated in the production process of rotor is the main factor that affects the quality of rotary machines. Nowadays, dynamic balancing technology and theory has been well established, but the function of the tradition balancing machines is limited to rotors' unbalancing test. In many cases, the rotors' balance adjustment is still done by hand, so the productivity is relatively low. In order to meet modern business requirements of efficient production, dynamic balancing equipment with the function of both testing and automatic correction are bound to become an inevitable trend and mainstream technology.This paper firstly elaborated the basic theory of dynamic balancing technology. On the basis of mathematical model of the rotor's vibration, the rotor's unbalancing phase and quality are mathematically expressed. Then the general methods of measuring the information about rotor's vibration have been described. In the respect of how to realize rotor's automatic balancing correction, in this paper we researched the rotor correction strategy, allowing for the actual shape of the rotor and convenience of the correction process as well as the feasibility of operation, this system uses the correction method of grinding on the end of the rotor. Then the relationship between feed volume and unbalance quality is analyzed. Besides, the possible amending errors is theoretically analyzed.For the research of the controlling system, the structure of rotor dynamic balancing emendation controlling system is designed with analysis of the system requirements. Adopting the master-slave structure and designed the entire mechanical and software structure of the system, the paper analyzed and designed each part of the dynamic balancing system. In the aspect of data acquisition, This paper researched the application of sensors, sampling control, signal analysis and digital filtering. Furthermore, the control method of stepper motor is also a key technology to the realization of automatic de-weighting and to ensure the correcting precision. In this paper, the motor drive module, impulse control method and acceleration/deceleration control algorithm is elaborated in detail. Also, the software flow and the graphical user interface of dynamic balancing system is designed. Additionally, many details of the dynamic balancing system is elaborated such as processing technology, key circuit analysis, database structure, software instruction, system self-test, program transplantation etc.The automatic dynamic balancing equipment is related to various sophisticated technology which include electrical and electronic technology, mechanical technology, sensor and measuring technology, information processing and automatic controlling principle etc. The automatic de-weighting controlling system researched and developed in this paper can substantially improve thee precision and productivity of the unbalancing of the rotors. This design has advantages as low cost, convenient in operation and maintenance, which plays an important role in saving labor and improve the efficiency of the producing process.
