In power grids, efficient monitoring and management of electric energy were important conditions to ensure that the system operated safely stably, and reliably, and could provide strong guarantee for electric safety. With the high-speed development of various new sensors and communication technologies, amount of information in power system had increased rapidly. Under the development trend, information expression of traditional monitoring and management of electric energy could not completely satisfy the needs for safety of the system operation. Especially in terms of usability, compatibility, explanatory, interactivity, real-time, and so on where there were disconnect with the actual working condition. Article was focused on visual monitoring and management of electric energy related questions, which were based on existing real resources and data resources, and designed and implemented a set of visual electric energy monitoring and management system.Modeling realistic scenes were based on vector graphics, the components of the model were as DOM(Document realistic scene modeling object model) bound events and abnormal states to implement event-driven displaying, which was more vivid to embody the relationship between global and local, and the relationship between component objects in electric energy monitoring and management system. In order to design a dynamic flow chart which was a combination of static and dynamic vector graphics, article used vector graphics which were according to data characteristics on the basis of text data to graphical processing. It was more vivid to convey information to operators in this way, while supporting the transplantation of graphics and secondary development. Article also developed a complete system of five function modules, it reflected the practicality of visual electric energy monitoring and management system. The main contents were as follows:(1) This article had researched and analyzed the scene modeling of the power distribution network, the key technologies of visual electric energy monitoring and management system, and also completed the scenario modeling on vector graphics modeling platform, which embodied the relationship between global and local of actual location and the relationship of connections between distribution networks, and sent messages which the operators concerned to them hierarchically.(2) This article had implemented the function of real-time data pushing on the base of event-driven mechanism to trigger events because of the operations of operators, and abnormal states. Had used scripting language to bind events on scenarios, components, and abnormal states, and implemented the function of real-time data pushing according to logic process, to facilitate the operators to check and analyze the actual scenario and system parameters.(3) This article had designed the corresponding visual graphic display schemes according to the demand design, and designed flow charts combined with corresponding static vector graphics and dynamic vector graphics to present the power distribution network according to the scenario. The visual graphics display schemes included the style of data graphics, statistical analyses and so on. Had designed suitable scalable vector graphics according to the characteristics, used interactive graph library and scripting language to set appropriate show way of diagrams for data according to the contents of statistical analysis. Had modeled static vector models and set actions to dynamic figures to complete the dynamic flow chart, which included static vector graphics and dynamic vector graphics. All of these were to achieve the aim that making the electric monitoring parameters display visually and improving the working efficiency of the operators.(4) This article had implemented the visual electric energy monitoring and management system on base of the theory and technical proposals above. It had implemented five function modules, including real-time monitor, run analysis, power monitor, exception management, and statistical form. The whole system was to enhance the understanding and power of control of the operators, and had provided a means of visual electric energy monitoring and management, using the dynamic display of flow chart, the real-time data visualization display, the behavior event-driven of operators, the event-driven of abnormal states and so on. It had shown that the system could provide powerful guarantees to the power distribution network for safety management after the system's test and run.
