As a representative of complex assembly, marine diesel's assembly process is very complex,while many key techniques have been using the traditional two-dimensional assembly process planning system.Under today's background that modern manufacturing industry is becoming more and more intelligent, informational,automatic,the research of key technology of 3D assembly process design for marine diesel engine is of great significance.In view of the present problems existing in actual marine diesel engine assembly that assembly process is disordered, and large quantities of components need artificial test,this paper takes the 3D assembly sequence planning technology for diesel engine and intelligent matching technology as main body to research the key technology and structure 3D marine diesel assembly process design system with the support of 3D assembly visualization technology.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)Package the data of 3D model assembly information of marine diesel engine, tidy assembly information used in assembly process,classify marine diesel engine assembly hierarchically according to the 3D assembly information and get the attribute information,assembly direction,tool information,assembly interference information,etc at each level of the assembly model to lay information foundation for the research on subsequent assembly sequence planning technology.(2)To solve the disorder of assembly sequence of complex assembly,the technology of assembly sequence planning for marine diesel engine is studied,in which the influence factors of the actual assembly of the workshop are fully considered as well as the rationality of assembly sequence planning from the aspects of lifting weight,assembly orientation,tool replacement and actual assembly interference factors etc. In addition,the traditional genetic algorithm is improved to generate assembly sequences more efficiently,making the sequence more feasible.(3)This paper gives a study on a large number of repeat matching pieces of intelligent matching problem of Marine diesel engine. Based on the research results of workshops' actual demand,matching rules are made and an intelligent optimal matching system is established from the angle of assembly precision and stability to solve the unqualified assembly quality caused by the workshop machining accuracy error, machining error and other factors,and to avoid too much consumption of assembly resources and time becauselots of assembly work is done by manual test.The matching precision of assembly parts is optimized,realizing intelligent matching for Marine diesel engine parts,outputting a matching sequence which is more optimized and reasonable, improving the efficiency and quality of Marine diesel engine matching.(4)Based on the above theoretical study,the author uses GUI MATLAB programming module to develop key technology software systems for assembly process to promote the realization of computer aided assembly technology.Moreover, the visualization technology of 3D assembly is studied, establishing 3D display platform of assembly technology which is able to overcome the weakness of the two-dimensional process system,such as the unclear information expression and so on.Through PDM software, the assembly process is related to each assembly model and assembly resources and the output of the assembly process technology is more intuitive,which is excepted to facilitate the operation,management and process technical information feedback and improve the intelligence and visualization of assembly process planning technology.
