With the economic development,energy resources consumption growing rapidly, china has become the world's largest energy consumer. Lighting energy consumption accounts for a large part in the teaching building energy consumption. If we can take full advantage of natural light, it not only can save a lot of lighting energy consumption, but also can reduce the energy consumption of air conditioning, reach the purpose of reducing building energy consumption. So under the premise of meet the visual requirements, how to take full advantage of natural light, reducing lighting energy consumption, is the key to building a conservation-oriented campus.This paper takes the ordinary classroom in colleges and universities in Wuhan as the research object. Studying the interior light environment of teaching building by questionnaires and on-site investigation, obtain the present status of indoor light environment and give the evaluation of the interior light environment. On this basis, used Ecotect software to establish the classroom model, used Desktop Radiance simulation and analysis of relevant parameters(the Ac/Ad, the transmittance of glass, the height of window, shape of the window, the width of wall between the window and so on) impact on the indoor light environment, and analysis the weight of parameters affecting by ensitivity. Used EQUEST to establish the teaching building model, simulation and analysis of the factors affecting the energy consumption of teaching building, such as building orientation, the window to wall ratio, the shading coefficient, the visible light transmittance of the glass, the height of window, sill height, the lighting control method, the type of window glass, etc. Obtain the the relationship between these parameters and energy consumption, and analysis these parameters by ensitivity. Finally, consider natural lighting and building energy consumption, obtain the optimal design of the builing of colleges and universities in Wuhan by research on the optimization design of the daylight opening and economic analysis based on the full life cycle. The research of this paper can provide the daylighting and energy saving optimization design of the new teaching building in Wuhan and provide the basis for the energy saving reconstruction of existing buildings.
