Global economic integration with the integration and homogeneity of the modernization of society and culture, in the process of China’s traditional settlements and vernacular architecture has also been the double impact of foreign culture and modernization, the trend of gradual decline, contains in the traditional culture, traditional settlement layout, and how to create a comfortable wind in traditional architectural form valuable experience and methods of the thermal environment is gradually disappear; Counterpart, the call of the regional culture protection is also rising, how under the background of global economic and cultural integration of cognition, understanding, and inherit the traditional culture and the experiences of traditional settlements, and combined with the requirements of the modern settlements, create livable outdoor environment also get attention. For a long time, however, has been the lack of the research of traditional settlements wind hot environment, lack of feasibility of outdoor thermal environment evaluation method, this thesis is aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional settlements wind thermal environment analysis on related research.Based on the traditional settlements as the research object, the Zhuhai Doumen town first comb the current for the traditional settlements related approaches to the study of the thermal environment wind and theory building, analysis of traditional settlement influence factors of thermal environment, wind, and the relationship between each other. By means of field investigation and numerical simulation analysis method, the Zhuhai Doumen town of traditional settlements, the formation of the thermal environment wind make a comprehensive analysis, summarized the Zhuhai Doumen town core status, location and spatial pattern of traditional settlements. For the construction to adapt to the regional climatic characteristics of energy-saving and land-saving type new settlement offer useful method and train of thought, to make it more meaningful.
